Toryn Seabrooks is an LA native who moved to New York two years ago to attend NYU Tisch. Her concentration is in Directing & Writing but has had extensive experience with creative producing, crowdfunding and production design. Toryn recently completed a short film titled ‘Dana’ about a newly paroled life sentence survivor who revists a crime scene from her past to make peace and move on. Among Dana, Toryn has directed and produced for several up and coming musicians in the Clive Davis Recording Institute and has worked extensively in the music video scene in the department of production design. Toryn’s most recent work on a video included Jackie Cruz’ Como La Flor and Kirk Knight’s ‘Knight Time’. Toryn is the recipient of the Tisch Dean’s Scholars award and will be completing her final year at NYU in 2017, seeking to seal things up with a short horror as her thesis.
